DANIEL H. ABATE, 60, of North Wildwood, Jan. 31, 2006. He was a resident for the past 30 years, and owner of the San’s Motel.
CHARLES BOLLINGER, U. S. Marine Sgt. Ret., of Marmora, Feb. 3, 2006. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, member of Local 54 Union, worked as a bartender for Harrah’s Hotel and Casino for more than 25 years.
 
DIANE OLSON BURDSALL, 51, of Sea Isle City, Jan. 29, 2006. She was a lifetime resident of the area.
DR. ROBERT LEE COURTNEY, of Egg Harbor Township with offices in Court House and Somers Point, Feb. 5, 2006. In addition to his practice, he was on staff at Shore Memorial Hospital and delivered many babies throughout the area. He was a member of St. Katherine Drexel Church.
CONSTANCE S. (nee Siani) DIPALMA, 83, of Ocean City, Feb. 4, 2006. She was a resident for 25 years, a paralegal for John Gilbert, dress shop owner, and member of St. Frances Cabrini Church.
FRANCES V. DUNN, 86, of North Cape May, Feb. 5, 2006. She was a resident since 1969 and worked as a nurse for South Cape Nursing.
JOSEPH H. JOHNSTON, 76, of Cape May.
JEAN M. LEGGIO, 70, of Cape May, Feb. 3, 2006. She was a resident since 1995, and an active member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
SANTOS M. MARQUEZ, of Woodbine. He was a resident for more than 46 years, retired from the Morie Sand Plant and was a custodian for the Golden Inn in Avalon.
WILLIAM J. MOTZ, SR., 65, of North Cape May, Feb. 2, 2006. He was a resident of the area for 10 years, retired from Septa and a member of St. Raymond’s Church.
FRANCES DAVIS PHELPS, 87, of Rio Grande. She was employed as a field representative of the New Jersey Department of Labor, a member of the Advisory Council on the Status of Women and a member of St. Simeon’s Church.
RUSSELL J. POLVINO, of North Cape May, Feb. 3, 2006. He was a member of St. John of God Church.
RUTH REPP, 81, of Cold Spring. She was a lifelong resident of the area, worked for the First National Bank of Cape May, and was a member of the Covenant Bible Church.
JAMES LESTER RHOAD-ES, 84, of Swainton, Jan. 30, 2006. He was a veteran of World War II, member of the American Legion and VFW and a member of St. Elizabeth’s Church.
MARGUERITE D. RUSSELL, 94, of North Cape May, Feb. 3, 2006. She was a resident for 30 years, and a member of St. Raymond’s Church.
GRACE B. (nee Bleiler) SHEERAN, 93, of Stone Harbor, Feb. 3, 2006.
GEORGE R. ‘Pete’ TANNER III, 72, of Dennisville, Jan. 30, 2006. He was owner of the Avalon Door Company in Clermont and coached Little League.
EDWARD JEROME TODD, 92, of West Cape May, Feb. 3, 2006. He was a permanent resident since 1981, retired from the Maryland State Department of Juvenile Services in Baltimore, Md., and a member of the Episcopal Church of the Advent.
GAREY TONEY, 52, of Burleigh, Jan. 28, 2006. He was a lifetime resident of the area, worked at Woodbine Development Center and was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Woodbine.
MARIE YOUSCHAK, 97, of North Wildwood, Feb. 4, 2006. She was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star
