NASW Aviation Museum Recognizes Phil Smith as Volunteer of the Month

By Press Release

CAPE MAY – The Naval Air Station Wildwood (NASW) Aviation Museum recognizes Phil Smith as the museum’s Volunteer of the Month for May.
Smith has been volunteering his time at NASW Aviation Museum for the past three years while his wife Phyllis volunteers at Historic Cold Spring Village.
Smith joked that since they are neighbors with NASW Chairman Dr. Joe Salvatore and Historic Cold Spring Village Executive Director Anne Salvatore, they had to get involved.
The Smiths recently volunteered at Feasting on History, Cold Spring Village’s annual restaurant gala and returned the next day to help clean the museum.
His favorite exhibit is the Navy A-4 Skyhawk flown by the Blue Angels and his favorite part of volunteering at the aviation museum is interacting with other volunteers and employees.
If you’d like to become a volunteer at the NASW Aviation Museum, please call 609-886-8787.
