COURT HOUSE –At its 6 p.m. meeting July 20, the Middle Township Committee honored Suzanne Stocker as the Employee of the Month for July 2015. Stocker, the Registrar of Vital Statistics and Deputy Municipal Clerk, began her career with Middle Township in September 2012.
Stocker was specifically recognized for her dedicated work in support of the Township’s 2015 Drumfish Tournament, which was the most successful one to date. Proceeds from the tournament support Middle Township Recreation Department programs.
“The Township is very appreciative of Suzanne’s hard work in coordinating the Drumfish Tournament,” said Township Administrator Connie Mahon. “Her enthusiasm was contagious and certainly contributed to making the tournament as successful as it was.”
When asked what she enjoys most about her job, Stocker said, “Each day is different—no day is ever quite like the one before, so I’m kept on my toes. Oh, and my boss (Municipal Clerk Kimberly Krauss) is pretty awesome, too!”
“Suzie brings a great attitude and a winning customer service approach to our Clerk’s office window,” Mayor Tim Donohue said. “Her commitment to our residents and her fellow employees makes her an important and inspirational member of our team. On behalf of Township committee, I congratulate her on this well-deserved honor.”
A resident of Green Creek, Stocker enjoys spending time with family and friends, particularly her significant other, Bruce, with whom she has two Labradors, Ty and Fathom.
“Suzanne is very dedicated to her job. She always goes above and beyond, and I know I can always rely on her,” said Committeeman Michael Clark.
The Middle Township Employee of the Month program was initiated by the Township Committee to honor employees who exemplify the Township’s commitment to better delivery of services and going the extra mile for residents. The program culminates with the Darius Graham Employee of the Year honor that is named after one of the Township’s most beloved employees in its history.
Nominations for the Employee of the Month Program are available inside Middle Township hall at three locations: Human Resources and Training Department, Administration Department, and on the bulletin board. Residents from the Township who have had a very positive interaction with any Middle Township
employee may pick up the one-page nomination form and fill it out in the employee’s behalf. Each month a Township employee will be selected; the winning nominee will receive a certificate at a future Township Committee meeting along with a photograph posted on the bulletin board.
