Merry Middle Township Ambulance Corps Brightens Holidays

By Al Campbell

COURT HOUSE — Middle Township Ambulance Corps officers and cadets paid a gift-laden, holiday visit to residents of Court House Convalescent and Rehab Center on Wed., Dec 15.
The corps, assisted by “The Grinch,” (a.k.a. Chief Faith Lancaster) President Deb Rue and Vice President Suzanne DeVico and other officers, distributed donated gifts of toiletries, house coats and other small items.
Rue said she hopes the corps’ act instills the holiday spirit in other groups and individuals to remember those, especially who have no family close by or none at holiday time, in that and other nursing and rehabilitation centers.
Cadets, who delivered gifts to residents, are aged 12-18, who participate in parades and other activities, but do not ride in the ambulances, Rue said.
