CAPE MAY – Roger Furlin, of Cape May, is the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC) Volunteer of the Month for June, 2014. He was nominated by MAC Director Michael Zuckerman, for his tireless assistance with such Museum Division projects as the hanging of the new valances in the Billiard Room and the repairing of the mantelpiece in the Billiard Room, at Cape May’s Victorian House Museum, the 1879 Emlen Physick Estate. “We are grateful to Roger for volunteering his time and skill,” Zuckerman said. “Roger’s efforts have greatly enhanced the appearance of the period rooms in our Physick House Museum.” MAC benefits from the expertise of members of the community in a variety of ways.
