VILLAS – The community of Lower Township would like to extend condolences to the family of Dave Thomas, whose life was tragically cut short on the morning of March 2.
Thomas, 28, of Lower Township, was killed Monday, March 2 when his Ford Ranger left an icy roadway and struck a tree along Fishing Creek Road.
Thomas was an employee in the township’s Public Works Department and he is remembered by his coworkers for being a dedicated worker. But more importantly, Thomas is remembered as a devoted husband and father.
Lower Township Mayor Michael Beck led a moment of silence prior to the start of the Monday evening council meeting in memory of Thomas and asked residents to continue to keep his family in their thoughts and prayers.
