By Press Release

CAPE MAY – Cape Island Masonic Lodge #30 recently awarded scholarships to graduating High School Seniors pursuing higher education. The recipients were Emily Newton from Lower Cape May Regional High School and Dara Baker from Middle Township High School.
Cape Island has been giving these scholarships since 1998 through the Kevin J. Ward Memorial Scholarship Fund. The awards were presented at the lodge July 12 and followed by a picnic. Charity is one of the principal tenets of Freemasonry and the lodge looks forward to continuing the tradition for many years.
