SEAVILLE – The Cape Shore Chorus captured third place small chorus at the regional Sweet Adelines International chorus competition held April 30th at Ocean City, Maryland. This year’s contest was comprised of 23 competing choruses from a four-state area. The Cape Shore Chorus has 24 members from the Cape May, Atlantic, Cumberland and Camden County areas.
The chorus is directed by Jayne McDonough, an elementary music teacher at West Cape May and Cape May City Schools and the chorus members come from all walks of life who share a love for music and singing four-part barbershop harmony.
The chorus holds weekly rehearsals on Thursday evenings at Abundant Life Assembly of God, Route 50 in Oceanview.
