HER-STORY – Maud Abrams School recognized March as Woman’s History Month by participating in an interactive assembly featuring Millicent Sparks as Harriet Tubman. Ms. Sparks traveled from the Underground Railroad and Civil Rights Museum in Philadelphia, Pa. In authentic dress and replete with slave dialect, Spark’s riveting performance included many unknown facts about Tubman.
