Marmora – Kari Allegretto of Marmora, a senior majoring in archaeology and art history, was recognized at Lycoming College’s Honors Convocation on Sunday, April 17.
Allegretto received the Faculty Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Archaeology for a graduating senior demonstrating outstanding academic performance and achieving the highest departmental grade point average among all majors within the department of religion. She was also recognized as a Lycoming College Scholar.
Lycoming College is a national liberal arts and sciences school dedicated to the undergraduate education of 1,400 students. It is recognized as a Tier 1 institution by U.S. News and World Report. Founded in 1812 in Williamsport, Pa., Lycoming is one of the 50 oldest colleges in the nation.
