WILDWOOD CREST – Patricia A. Feketics was officially sworn in as the new municipal clerk and registrar of vital statistics for the Borough of Wildwood Crest during a ceremony held Aug. 21, at borough hall.
Feketics replaces Janelle Holzmer, who retired earlier this year.
Feketics had been Wildwood Crest’s deputy municipal clerk since July 2013. She previously worked for 10 years in the administrative offices of the Wildwood Crest Police Department.
“I am so thankful for this opportunity,” Feketics told a gathering of about 50 people in the borough’s municipal courtroom after being sworn in by Wildwood Crest Commissioner of Revenue and Finance Joyce Gould. “I will work hard to do this job to the best of my ability. I’ll try my best to help make this a great place to live for all of our residents and a great place to work for all of our employees.”
A graduate of Wildwood Catholic High School, Feketics, 43, possesses a bachelor’s degree in English and a master’s degree in higher education administration from RowanUniversity. She and her husband, John, reside in Wildwood Crest with their two children, Patrick, 10, and Megan, 8.
