COURT HOUSE – On Saturday, pouring out of the New Jersey National Guard Armory in Court House were several military vehicles, fire apparatus from Villas, Green Creek, Town Bank, ambulances from Middle and Lower Township, and motorcycles from Warriors Watch, Nam Knights, Cape Classics, Old Coots on Coots, Red White & Blue Freedom Rider, US Military Vets, Christian Motorcycle, Legion Riders, Leatherneck Nation along with miscellanies other cars a motorcade ending at the Villas VFW to honor a father and son.
Army Master Sergeant (MSG) Sippel based from Ft Dix was deployed to Afghanistan where he mentored Albanian military training the Afghan Army. His son, Air Force Staff Sergeant (SSgt) Sippel Jr. based out of McGuire, deployed to Qatar performing security checks.
Both Sippels have deployed three times. This being their first homecoming parade, they were grateful in the outpouring of support from the community. Sgt Sippel Jr. was able to make it home a day before his one year wedding anniversary and the birth of his daughter. Having served over 26 years in the Army MSG Sippel reenlisted for another six years well on this latest deployment.
