FACES Autism Support Group Enjoys Park Picnic

SWAINTON — Faces Autism Support Group’s 2009 Family Fun Day was held June 17 at the Cape May County Park and Zoo.
The day was a huge success, according to a release, “thanks to our wonderful picnic committee and the overwhelming generosity and support from our community. Our families enjoyed free t-shirts, food from Urie’s Restaurant, a moonbounce from Kid Parties to Go, prizes and Pine Barren Modelers of Whiting brought their model airplanes and a visit from Cape May Dare officer Tony Genaro” wrote Lisa Bryant.
The 2009 Faces of Hope Award winners were: Andrew Mallon of Urie’s Restaurant; David Craig of Lucky Bones and Susan Elmer of Cape May County Special Services.
They were thanked for their “tireless efforts and support of the Autism community,” Bryant wrote.
Members of the Picnic Committee were: Susan Elmer of Egg Harbor Township: Brianna Kelly of Court House; Isabelle Mosca Jr. and Sr. of Ventnor, Mary Ann Philippi of Egg Harbor Township; Linda Kelly of Court House; and Dianna Marie of Barnegat,
Elizabeth Sinnerard of North Cape May and Lisa Bryant.
