MAUDE V. ABRAMS, 76, of North Cape May, June 17, 2006. She was a resident since 1973 and was a cook for St. Raymond’s Rectory.
LIONEL C. BELL, 51, of Cape May, June 14, 2006. He was a graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High school and was a waiter at many of the area restaurants.
DR. MARLYN H. BORTNER, 81, of Stone Harbor, June 15, 2006. He was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the Jersey Cape Shell Club.
MARY E. BYRNE, 97, of Cape May, June 12, 2006. She was a sales associate for Strawbridge Clothier Stores in Philadelphia for 64 years before retiring in 1992, and was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church.
DANIEL COLLINS III, 47, of Green Creek, June 17, 2006. He was a lifetime resident, a heavy equipment operator with Jonathon Hand Excavating and retired from Middle Township Public Works.
JOSEPH V. ‘Joe’ CONWAY, 86, of Avalon, June 11, 2006. He was an executive of the Philadelphia Evening Bulletin, the Lions Club of Avalon and a member of Maris Stella Church.
FILOMENA CORSON, 75, of Wildwood Crest, June 14, 2006. She was a resident for the past 23 years.
DEVON DAVIS, infant son of Tiffany Gales and Frank Davis Jr. of Woodbine, June 12, 2006.
CAROL ANN DIETZ, 41, June 15, 2006. She was a resident for the past 24 years.
CARMEN L. DISCEPOLA, 93, of North Cape May, June 15, 2006. He was a veteran of World War II, member of the VFW Post 5343 and an active member of St. John of God Church.
ELEANOR (nee MacAleer) FERGUSON, of Ocean City, June 12, 2006. She was a member of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church.
ELIZABETH S. GOGA, of Ocean City, June 15, 2006. She was a member of St. Augustine Church.
OSCAR M. HOKANSON, 86, of North Cape May, June 14, 2006. He was a veteran of World War II and active in the Lutheran Church.
BETTE JULIANA, of Ocean City, June 13, 2006. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
VINCENT J. KOSTEK, 76, of Rio Grande, June 11, 2006. He was a toll collector with the County Bridge Commission and a resident of the area for many years.
FORREST P., ‘Woody’ LAING, 78, of Villas, June 18, 2006. He was a resident for more than 40 years, a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and a real estate salesman for Coldwell Banker and Apex Realty.
LILLIAN MACRINA, 81, of Clermont, June 17, 2006. She was a member of the Sea Isle United Methodist Church. WILLIAM MORRIS, 90, of Court House, June 14, 2006. He was a resident since 1980.
WILLIAM L. ‘Pete’ PETERSON, 78, formerly of Avalon, April 7, 2006.
PETER A. REINA, 68, of North Wildwood, June 17, 2006. He was a resident since 1994, an administrative assistant for General Electric and Lockheed Martin, and was a member of the Cape May Bird Observatory and the Villas Fishing Club.
ANNA K. SCHWARTZ, 96, of Avalon, June 15, 2006. She was a resident for the past 54 years.
HELEN K. VESPE, 83, of Wildwood, June 13, 2006. She was CEO of Daniels Realty Diamond Beach.
EMILY B. (nee Benner) WATKINSON, 83, of Wildwood Crest, June 18, 2006. She was a resident for the past 30 years and retired secretary for State Farm Insurance.
