Adorable babies from all over the East Coast took part in the 101-year-old Wildwoods tradition
WILDWOOD — The 101st Wildwoods Baby Parade, which took place on Wed., Aug. 4 along the Wildwoods Boardwalk, was a spectacular event full of smiles and cute youngsters.
This year’s special Baby Parade drew in more than 100 of the country’s most adorable children, along with parading string bands, costumed characters and a huge crowd of parents, family, friends and vacationers – all there to take part in the festivities.
Elaborate costumes, decorated wagons and detailed floats were displayed during the Baby Parade. Themes used at this year’s parade ranged from carousels and fire trucks to angels and sailors.
The 101st Wildwoods Baby Parade drew in babies from throughout the region and country, and, although only three winners were chosen from each of the seven divisions, in the end, all participants were winners and received a special ribbon.
