Crest Haven Plans Family Picnic

CREST HAVEN — Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will hold its third annual Family Picnic on Aug. 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event, coordinated by the Recreation Department at Crest Haven, is open to family members of both the residents and the staff of the center.
Activities will include face painting, games, and other adventures for youngsters, and music by “Francois” and his harmonious accordion.
Additionally, Robert “Buttons the Clown” Connolly, a Crest Haven resident, will entertain children with his balloon magic.
Crest Haven will supply lunch that includes chicken, hot dogs and hamburgers at 11:30 a.m. catered by Spankies BBQ.
Additionally, Family Picnic T-shirts will be on sale for $7 with all proceeds going to the recreation fund for Crest Haven residents, according to Freeholder Gerald Thornton.
