Court House Resident Receives Adjunct Teaching Excellence Award

COURT HOUSE – Susan Van Rossum of Cape May Court House won Atlantic Cape Community College’s Adjunct Teaching Excellence Award at the Adjunct Appreciation Event, May 25, at the Mays Landing Country Club.
Van Rossum teaches English at Atlantic Cape, and was honored with a $300 check and engraved plaque.
The eight other nominees for the award included: Jody Davis of Linwood, ESL and modern languages instructor; Lisa Jones of Hammonton, nursing instructor; Al Kaplan of Galloway, criminal justice instructor; Linda Koch of Cape May Court House, English instructor; Julianne Reinhardt of Galloway, English instructor; Gracellen Thorstensen of Vineland, English instructor; Michelle Wilson of Mays Landing, social science instructor; and Larry Young of Mays Landing, microbiology instructor. Students or colleagues nominated instructors for the award.
