COURT HOUSE– The Cape May Court House Fire Department will hold a beef and beer benefit dinner on June 5, to raise money for two veteran firefighters that have become seriously ill.
Brian Hinchey,48, of Cape May Court House, served with Cape May Court House fire for over 20 years. He suffered a stroke back in March, secondary to the discovery of a 4 centimeter tear in his heart.
James “Jimmy” McClure,48, of Cape May Court House, served with Cape May Court House fire for over 20 years. For the last several months Jimmy has been at battle with a brain tumor.
The beef and beer will be held at the CMCH firehouse on Hand Avenue (between Hand and Mechanic St) on Saturday June 5th, 2010 from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. There will be a live band, live auction, 50/50, silent auctions. Tickets are $20 in advance or at the door.
