OURT HOUSE – Frank LoBiondo (NJ-02) today met with members of the New Jersey State Association of Letter Carriers in his Capitol Hill office. Among them was Mary Beth Gaskill, a letter carrier from the Wildwood Post Office – Branch 903. A resident of Cape May Court House, Ms. Gaskill is credited with saving the life of a local resident along her mail route who failed to collect his mail due to being incapacitated in his home. Recognizing an irregular activity from her regular patron, Ms. Gaskill sought local law enforcement’s assistance and ultimately saved the elderly resident’s life.
Attached to this correspondence is a letter of congratulations from PostMaster General Patrick Donahoe to Mary Beth Gaskill along with her letter to Congressman LoBiondo outlining the events of that day. Congressman LoBiondo applauded Ms. Gaskill’s efforts and service today in person during their visit in Washington.
