AVALON — Caring for Kids will host a Fun(d) raiser Sat. Aug. 28 to provide financial assistance for under-insured Cape May County families in need of counseling and support.
The pool/beach party will be held in collaboration with its partner, Bridge Counseling Services, at the Golden Inn, 79th Street and the beach between 1 and 5 p.m.
Along with a lively Reggae band, some great swimming, dancing and relaxing, there also will be a sit-down luncheon and a silent auction with items ranging from kitchen/bath essentials, to massage therapy sessions, to adventure passes, a fall vacation by the bay, and more.
