MAC’s Managing Assistant to the Director of Visitor Services, Dawn Brautigam, was recently recognized as MAC’s Volunteer of the Month for September for her dedication to MAC’s volunteer program. On most occasions Brautigam, of Cape May, can be found helping customers and visitors in the Hill House Office at the Emlen Physick Estate, but she also spends much of her free-time volunteering at Cape May Music Festival concerts and the Vintage Ball during Cape May’s Spring Festival and Victorian Week (Oct. 8-14). She counts helping visitors make the most of their stay in Cape May among one of her favorite roles at MAC. Brautigam has worked with MAC for five years, has participated in just about every MAC event and thoroughly enjoys being a part of the organization. Janice Coyle, MAC’s Director of Visitor Services & Special Events, nominated Brautigam because, “She typically goes above and beyond the call of duty to help out in whatever capacity she can.” The Volunteer of the Month award is given to a person who demonstrates a high degree of dedication, commitment and constancy to MAC’s volunteer program.
