Army Private Luis E. Seijo has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
Seijo is the brother of Luis A. Seijo of Wilmington, Del.
He is a 2012 graduate of Wildwood High School.

Army National Guard Private Brandon S. Turner has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.
Turner is the brother of Zachary J. Turner of Court House.
He is a 2015 graduate of Wildwood High School.

The following students have been named to the summer 2015 dean’s list at University of the Sciences. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a “C” and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the summer semester of 2015.

Court House resident Rachael DiCicco was inducted into the Neumann University Athletic Hall of Fame at an alumni recognition dinner Oct. 17.
In 2008, DiCicco led the field hockey team to its first conference championship and NCAA tournament appearance, earning MVP recognition for the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) tournament and CSAC Player of the Year. She graduated as the second leading goal scorer in school history and today still ranks fourth overall. She still ranks first in Neumann field hockey history with eight game-winning goals.

More than 75 students in the doctor of physical therapy program at University of the Sciences received a white coat at the 11th Annual Physical Therapy White Coat Ceremony Sept. 12. The White Coat Ceremony is an annual rite of passage for fourth-year students in USciences’ six-year PT program. Among those receiving their PT white coats were:

These students continue on the path to receiving a doctor of physical therapy degree in May 2018. Donning their white coats, the students recited the Oath of a Physical Therapist, a gesture to reinforce their commitment to working with patients compassionately and to enhancing their health and well-being.
