Sarah Katherine Schiffelbein, of Villas, was among the 459 students recently named to the spring 2015 Dean’s List at Caldwell University, according to Barbara J. Chesler, Ph.D., Vice President for Academic Affairs at the university.
In order to achieve this honor, students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and complete at least 12 credits during the semester.

Air Force Airman Albert A. Mccloskey graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Mccloskey is the son of Nancy M. and Fred Mccloskey of Villas.
He is a 2014 graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High School.

Court House resident, Imani Hubbard, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan in Teaneck, N.J., has been inducted into FDU’s Phi Zeta Kappa honor society for the Spring 2015 semester.
Eligibility for membership in the University’s junior honor society is established by completing at least the first 60 credits toward an undergraduate degree. Of these, 44 must have been earned at Fairleigh Dickinson and a CGPR of 3.20 must have been maintained for all of them. All the preceding requirements must have been fulfilled prior to the accumulation of 80 credits toward the undergraduate degree.

Dean Howey of Ocean City, was one of 57 students chosen to serve as a Valley Ambassador for Lebanon Valley College this fall. Howey, a graduate of Ocean City High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in music education.
As a Valley Ambassador, Howey tours prospective students and their families through the College’s beautiful Annville campus to see the academic quad, a typical classroom, a dorm room, and the athletic fields, while providing knowledge of life at The Valley.

The College of New Jersey has announced that Margaret Beane Fox of Cape May has been named a recipient of a Mary Roebling International Travel Award which provides funding for students in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences to travel outside the United States to conduct advanced undergraduate work under the auspices of the College. Fox is a sophomore Spanish and Sociology double major who will spend the Fall 2015 semester at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in Mendoza, Argentina. An emphasis of her study will include a strong community service component.
The fund was created in honor of the late Mary Roebling by Gale Wayman ’70 (English education). For nearly half a century Roebling distinguished herself as one of the nation’s top banking executives and as one of Trenton’s most passionate philanthropists. Students who receive the Roebling award are expected to give a public presentation about their experience or project at the next Celebration of Student Achievement (CoSA) following their return to TCNJ from abroad. Fox is a 2013 graduate of Lower Cape May Regional High School.
