Justin Tomlin of Cape May has been named to the Fall 2015 Dean’s List at Florida Institute of Technology.
To be included on the Dean’s List, a student must complete 12 or more graded credits in a semester with a semester grade point average of at least 3.4.

Elizabethtown College recently announced that Stephanie Miller, a first-year English — Professional Writing student of Court House, is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.
First-year students, who have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher and are in the top 20 percent of their class, are invited to become members of Alpha Lambda Delta, a national organization founded in 1924. McMurry University is pleased to announce that Amber Rouse of Middle Township received a scholarship at the Scholarship Day competition March 5.
Scholarship Day awards are among the highest academic recognitions made by McMurry University to entering freshman students. These awards are based on outstanding academic achievement and the promise of continued academic excellence. Scholarship Day awards provide an annual stipend of at least $8,000 and are renewable for up to eight semesters of full-time study.

Marjorie Paige Schoultz of Beesleys Point, a junior at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, has been named to the Dean’s List.
A 2013 graduate of Ocean City High School, Paige attended Bishop McHugh Regional Catholic School.
She is studying Food Marketing at St. Joseph’s Haub School of Business, which consists of a combination of liberal arts and general business courses in addition to courses that focus on the food industry – sales, marketing, retailing, wholesaling, distribution and market research. She is participating in the Food Marketing Department’s five-year co-op program, applying her studies during three six-month co-op terms working with top food companies.
This summer, she will begin a co-op in the marketing department of BBU in Horsham, Pa., a subsidiary of the world’s largest baking company whose brands include Arnold, Entenmann’s, Sara Lee, Thomas’, Freihofers and Stroehmann.

U.S. Air Force Airman Alexander C. Lashley graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Lashley is the son of George C. Lashley of Court House, and Jaime L. Stoicoff of Lindale, Ga., and step-son of Susan R. Lashley of Court House.
He is a 2015 graduate of Middle Township High School.

Ryan Hildebrandt, a Japanese major in the Colgate University Class of 2017, has earned the Dean’s Award for academic excellence for the fall 2015 semester.

Kira Rafter of Court House has received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University (WGU). The university held its 30th semi-annual commencement ceremony in Orlando, Fla. Feb. 6 and celebrated the graduation of more than 7,300 graduates.
