Christopher Knipe, of Erma, along with 12 other members of Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine’s (Geisinger Commonwealth) first Doylestown campus cohort, received a master of biomedical sciences (MBS) degree at a ceremony held Aug. 13 at the Scranton campus.

Robert Church III, of Goshen, received the President’s Scholars of Excellence for the spring 2017 semester at Rowan University’s College of Engineering.
The President’s Scholars of Excellence is bestowed on full-time matriculated undergraduates who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 4.0 for a given term, based on 12 semester hours of letter grades.
Church was also named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2016 semester with a GPA of 3.75.
Church is a member of Rowan’s class of 2020. He is the son of Rob (Jr.) and Kim Church.

Richard Garvey, of Ocean City, graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in marketing during commencement exercises held Aug. 4 at Coastal Carolina University.

Jason Warner, from Marmora, has achieved Dean’s List for the spring 2017 semester at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass.
The Nichols College Dean’s List recognizes students who have achieved high grades during a single semester. In order to be included in the Dean’s List, a student must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.2 for at least 12 credit-hours and receive no grade below a C+ during the semester.
A student who earns a grade point average of 3.6 or higher is awarded Dean’s High Honors.

The following student graduated after the spring 2017 session at South Dakota State University. The student listed below completed all requirements for a degree and/or certificate program and those requirements have been verified by the appropriate college.

Court House resident and Wesley College student, John Ruisch, was among 276 students who achieved academic success for the spring 2017 semester and was placed on Dean’s List. In order to be recognized, students must achieve between a 3.33 and 3.99 GPA for the semester.
