COURT HOUSE — The following area students were named to the dean’s list, graduated, or received honors as heir respective colleges:
AURORA, NY — Hope Diament, of Avalon, was named to the Wells College Dean’s List for the Fall 2011 semester

ROSEMONT, PA — Veronica Abel of Rio Grande graduated from Rosemont College in December 2011. Abel earned a master of arts degree in education.

CHESTER, PA — The following students from the area were named to the Deans’ List for the Fall 2011 semester at Widener University in Chester, Pa.

SALISBURY, MD — Two Cape May County area students were named to the Dean’s List at Salisbury University for the Fall 2011 semester.
Area students include Kelly McGlynn of Beesley’s Point and John Coggins of Ocean View.

SALISBURY, MD — Two Cape May County students recently graduated from Salisbury University. They were among the 498 undergraduate students who received 441 bachelor’s and 57 master’s degrees during the University’s annual Winter Commencement ceremony at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.
Area residents include John Birch, B.S., management, of Ocean City; and Andrew Locotos, B.A., English, of Seaville.

BOURBONNAIS, IL — Amber Hope of Cape May was named to the dean’s list at Olivet Nazarene University during the recently completed fall 2011 semester.

Nathan Ernst, 2008 Graduate of Middle Township High, met the requirements for the Dean’s List for the Fall 2011 Semester at Monmouth University. Nathan completed his internship in the spring of 2011 at Deer Valley Utah. Nathan will be graduating in May 2012 with a degree in Business/Marketing.

WILMINGTON, DEL. — David Deweese, of Wildwood, was included on the dean’s list at Widener University School of Law

William Mullins of Cape May, has received a Presidential Scholarship from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. The son of Susan & Billy Mullins, William will graduate from Cape May County Technical HS in 2012, and is active in FFA, Key club, swim team and cross country. William plans to major in biology or chemistry.

Jamie Gallagher of Upper Township has recently been named to the Dean’s List at Rutgers University School of Law in Camden. A second year law student, Jamie is a 2006 graduate of Ocean City High School and a 2010 graduate of Rutgers University in New Brunswick where she doubled majored in Criminal Justice and Political Science. Jamie will graduate in the Spring of 2013 with a Juris Doctorate.

MADISON — Drew University student Danielle Nicole Barber of Court House, has been named to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2011 semester. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, students must earn a grade point average of 3.4 or above, which is equivalent to a B+ or better.

BEAVER FALLS, PA. — Geneva College announces the following students on the Dean’s List for the 2011 – 12 fall semester.
Brittany Sterling of Court House is a junior majoring in Biopsychology.
Brandon DeRuiter of Ocean View is a sophomore majoring in Biology.

Jarek Cameron Penney of Woodbine Named to University of Kansas Fall 2011 Honor Roll for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He is a sophomore in Pre-Physical Therapy.

ROCHESTER, NY — Kyle O Neill of Burleigh graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Master of Science degree in innovation management from RIT’s E. Philip Saunders College of Business in fall 2011.

TEANECK, NJ — Cindy Cassidy of Ocean View, a student at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Anthony J. Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies has been named to the Honors List for the Fall 2011 Semester.

ELIZABETHTOWN, PA — Alyson Thorp, a senior from Ocean City is included on the dean’s list at Elizabethtown College.

EWING — Brielle Roller of Court House, a junior nursing major at The College of New Jersey, attended a service trip volunteering in El Salvador through coordination with The Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children (FIMRC), a national organization which focuses on providing health care for children in medical clinics in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Peru, Uganda, and India.
