11th Annual ‘Feasting on History’ Draws Crowd to Aviation Museum

By Al Campbell

ERMA — A packed Hangar No. 1 at Naval Air Station Wildwood with hundreds of hungry Cape May County residents meant a successful 11th annual Feasting on History fund raising event for Historic Cold Spring Village Tue., May 3.
Attracting the masses were 39 Cape May County restaurants, bakers, caterers and clubs dishing out their specialties from soups and seafood items to pulled pork, Oriental specialties and an array of eye-appealing and palate-pleasing desserts.
Proceeds benefited the Historic Cold Spring Village Endowment Fund.
The Village is an 18th Century recreated farm community featuring many restored Cape May County dwellings from that period, located between Route 9 and Seashore Road.
