AVALON — PC Computer Class at the Avalon Library
The Avalon Free Public Library will hold a PC Computer Class on Oct. 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. Topic is Windows 8 Hands On: Windows 8 and the Cloud. Registration is required by calling (609) 967-7155 or stopping by the circulation desk.
Lego Club at the Avalon Free Public Library
The Avalon Library will hold a Lego Club on the 4th Friday of each month, beginning Oct. 25 from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m. The library will supply the Legos, please leave yours at home. All ages are welcome.
Knitting Club at the Avalon Library
The Avalon Free Public Library will host Knitting Club on Oct. 28 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the library. All levels of knitters are welcome.
Scrabble at the Avalon Library
Join the Scrabblers at the Avalon Free Public Library for word play on Oct. 28 from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. No registration is required.
Fall Fishing Lecture at the Avalon Library
The Avalon Free Public Library will present a Fall Fishing Lecture on Oct. 29 at 6:30 p.m. Capt. Dick Herb, a member of the NJ Marine Fisheries Council, will be reviewing 2013 action and previewing 2014 regulations, tips for fall fishing, and off-season projects to improve your rods/reels/lures for next year.
