By Herald Staff

VILLAS— An emergency blood drive has been scheduled for Thur., Sept. 9 by the American Red Cross from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Lower Township Recreation Center, 2600 Bayshore Road, behind Township Hall.
The American Red Cross closely monitors national and local blood supplies to ensure they can provide blood where and when it is needed.
There is a critical need for blood donors now. In fact, someone is counting on you at this very moment to give the gift of life. All blood types are needed, but type O negative donors can make the difference between an adequate blood supply and a shortage.
A goal has been set of 30 blood donations.Walk-ins are welcome,
