OCEAN CITY — South Jersey Connection to Action, a local advocacy group formed this year, will show its support for the environment and for full funding of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with a Hands Across the Beach event on Earth Day. The rain-or- shine event starts at 8:45 a.m. Sat., April 22 at 6th Street and the Boardwalk.
Join hands with us to show that we cherish our beautiful island, want clean air, clean water, and a stable climate, and support the EPA and its mission to protect the environment for future generations of Americans. Following our Hands Across the Beach event, many of us will participate in the Clean Ocean Action beach cleanup set for that day. Everyone is welcome to participate.
