WILDWOOD – Disabled American Veterans Department of New Jersey (DAVNJ) announced that this year’s 97th annual convention will be held in Wildwood at the Wildwoods Convention Center, June 10-13.
DAV chapter commanders, along with their support staff, and past department commanders, as well as current line officers will be in attendance. Meetings, round-table discussions, as well as guest speakers will bring vital insights to the estimated 750 attendees.
DAVNJ, through its 43 chapters and 19,000 members, serves the veterans community and is dedicated to a single purpose: Fulfilling our promises to the men and women who served.
DAVNJ does this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them, assisting with employment, fight for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.
DAV, a nonprofit organization with more than 1 million members, was founded in 1920 and chartered by the U.S Congress in 1932. Learn more at www.dav.org.
