Dennis Township Students Receive Young Historians Award

DENNIS TOWNSHIP – The Board of Trustees of the Cape May County Historical and Genealogical Society are pleased to announce that the fifth grade students in Dennis Township are the recipients of the Young Historians Award.
The Society notes that the award is presented in recognition of the students’ advocacy and commitment to county history and specifically noted their “enthusiasm for history was contagious” and the students were “inspiring” to the Society board.
Each student received a certificate from the school to take home and the school received a plaque from the Society and a Resolution of Commendation from New Jersey Senator Jeff Van Drew and Assemblymen Bob Andrzejczak and Bruce Land.
