DENNIS TOWNSHIP — The May 2017 Employees of the Month for Dennis Township School District are: Primary School speech therapist Liz Romano and 8th grade teacher Anthony McCurdy.
An integral member of the district’s Child Study Team, Romano is case manager for many students as well as the speech therapist at the Primary School. Her own child attends school in the district and she is heavily involved in several committees and organizations as well as organizing and helping with various events. McCurdy, both a teaching and military veteran, teaches 8th grade special education. His twin daughters are graduating from the Middle School this year.
Dennis Township Principal Jamie VanArtsdalen implemented the Employees of the Month program to recognize more employees for their hard work and dedication. Employees of the Month receive a certificate, use of a designated parking spot for the month and the acclaim of their administrator and colleagues.
