Dennis Township 8th Graders Pick Up Litter to Fund Graduation Dance

DENNIS TOWNSHIP – 8th grade students and parents picked up litter at the Dennis Township Recreation Center recently as a fundraiser for the Dennis Township 8th grade graduation dance.
Funded through the Clean Communities Grant and facilitated by the Recreation Center, the community clean up provides a source of funds for nonprofit organizations in the township in return for helping to keep public areas and streets free of litter.
Organized by parent Bonnie Werntz and Christina Jamison, the clean up crew included the Werntzs, the Jamisons, the Elisanos, the Pickerings, the Fries, the Fowlers, the Selovers, the McCurdys, Courtney Herlihy and Kelcie Morrow.
