Dennis Township 6th Graders Use Rocks in Creative Ways

DENNIS TOWNSHIP – Sixth grade students in Dennis Township enjoyed a fun activity to celebrate their study of geology where they were challenged to use rocks of any kind in a creative, artistic display.  The students and teachers voted for the winners in each homeroom – winners are listed below with the theme of their winning project:
Marni McCann’s Homeroom:
1st place: Kaylee Davis (solar system)
2nd: Nick Pizagno (hockey rink)
3rd: Mason Nees (Pokemon Sealio)
Lisa Pettit’s Homeroom:
1st: Noah Clemens (box of chocolates)
2nd: Ethan Leith (McDonalds happy meal)
3rd: TIE – Will Donohue (steak on BBQ)/Kaylee Graziano-Goodman (playground)
