By

OCEAN VIEW – The public is asked to join Dennis Township mayor and committee, Sen. Jeff VanDrew, Assemblyman Robert Andrzejczak, and Assemblyman-elect Bruce Land, (all-D-1st) in welcoming home a local hero Dec. 13, at 1 p.m.
Army Specialist Colt Dietrich, who has been deployed in Kuwait and Iraq, is returning home to his mother and siblings, several of whom are also veterans, in time for the holidays.
A parade of local fire and rescue departments, law enforcement, and veterans will greet Dietrich at his home 7 Meadow Creek Drive, Clermont.
The procession will wind through his neighborhood, and proceed north along Route 9 to Ocean View Fire Hall, where Dietrich will be presented with several proclamations as well as many “Welcome Home” cards being made by students from Dennis Township’s primary and middle schools.
Refreshments will be served following the awards ceremony. Those with questions, or to participate, should contact Committeeman Donald Tozer.
