DATE CORRECTED: Flag Retirement Ceremony Set Oct. 20

DEL HAVEN – On Oct. 20, at 1:30 p.m. at the Cape May Park South (across the street from D.A.V. Chapter 44, 1010 Bayshore Road, Chapter 44 will hold its 13th Annual Formal Flag Retirement Ceremony.
An incorrect date was originally announced by the organization.
Those with a tattered, torn, or faded flag or who know anyone who has one and wants to have it put to rest in the proper manner, please contact D.A.V. Chapter 44 or drop them off at our drop off mail box at our Post Home by Oct. 19, or bring them to the ceremony.
Flags will be treated with dignity and respect they deserve. The Ceremony is open to the public, and all organizations are invited to attend.
The chapter will be honoring Tom Collins, of the Forgotten Warriors Vietnam Museum, for all his dedication and hard work to keep his museum open here in Cape May County.
