WOODBINE – The Cape May County Library will be holding a demonstration on “Mosaic of Fabric”, presented by R.S. Wang. This program will be held at the Woodbine Branch, located at 800 Monroe Street, Woodbine, Aug. 20, 2016 from 2 to 3 p.m.
Mr. Wang invented a new art – Mosaic of Fabric. By tucking the fabrics into the foam board, the pictures are like quilts but much freer in expression and easier to do. There is no need for technique struggling. One can do this art anywhere, on sofa or at table. This art is quite forgiving. Basically, fabric colors and patterns are well designed. This art makes use of the fabric beauty. In addition to its novelty, this art is quite lovely as it is enjoyable to watch both at distance and close by.
R. S. Wang, was born in 1940 in China, came to this country by the end of 1963, and received a PhD degree in Engineering Mechanics in 1969 from Virginia Tech. He has lived in Egg Harbor Township for 24 years, and retired from the FAA Tech Center in 2006.

Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
