TUCKAHOE – Cape Shore Chorus, based in Tuckahoe, NJ, was awarded the small chorus silver medal at the Sweet Adelines’ International, Region 19 competition held in Hershey, PA, April 7-9. Fourteen small choruses competed plus six mid-size and large choruses. Sweet Adelines’ International is a women’s singing organization of more than 25,000 women in 600 choruses worldwide who sing acapella in the good old barbershop style. Region 19 is made up of choruses from New Jersey, PA, Maryland, Delaware and W.VA.
