Local Chorus Wins Silver Medal

TUCKAHOE – Cape Shore Chorus, based in Tuckahoe, NJ, was awarded the small chorus silver medal at the Sweet Adelines’ International, Region 19 competition held in Hershey, PA, April 7-9.  Fourteen small choruses competed plus six mid-size and large choruses.  Sweet Adelines’ International is a women’s singing organization of more than 25,000 women in 600 choruses worldwide who sing acapella in the good old barbershop style.  Region 19 is made up of choruses from New Jersey, PA, Maryland, Delaware and W.VA.
Cape Shore is always looking for new members.  If you’re a woman who loves to sing and you’re interested a challenge and you want to have fun, come to a rehearsal.  We rehearse Thursdays, 7:15 to 10:00 p.m. at the Upper Township Community Center on Route 50 in Tuckahoe.  If you have questions or need more information, go to our website: capeshorechorus.org or call Brenda at 609 463-8870
