CAPE MAY – Join the Aviation Museum June 14 at 7 p.m. as authors Dave Jones and Arthur J. Higbee take the floor for a retelling of their true story of a rescue at sea and a book signing event.
Promising Forecast is the true story of five men who start out on a well-planned and exciting deep sea fishing trip that quickly turns into a harrowing experience. Without warning, their boat suddenly sinks thirty miles off shore, and they find themselves stranded and helpless in the water for almost nineteen hours with only life jackets and a will to live. The authors will share their fears, thoughts, and feelings while they faced challenges to survive. The authors will be available for a book signing event after the lecture.
This is a free presentation as part of the NASW Aviation Museum’s educational outreach program. The museum is located within the Cape May Airport Complex inside Historic Hangar #1, 500 Forrestal Road Rio Grande, NJ. Donations are appreciated. Light refreshments will be provided, reservations are not required. For additional info visit the Museum website at usnasw.org or call 609-886-8787.
