WOODBINE — The Cape May County Library will be holding a two-day beginners crochet workshop at the Woodbine Branch, located at 800 Monroe Street, Woodbine, March 15 and March 22, 2014, both from 10 a.m. to noon.
Students will learn different stitches and how to read patterns during this workshop. This class is strongly recommended as a prerequisite for students who have no previous experience crocheting and wish to attend the more intermediate crotchet workshops offered by the Cape May County Library.
The presenter, Jennifer Bolton, learned to crochet from her grandmother, and hopes to pass on the tradition to her three girls. Jennifer has earned a degree in Fine Arts from Montgomery College.
All students will be required to bring a J hook and 1 skein of #4 weighted (smooth) yarn (any color). Attendees must be at least 18 years of age. Class size is limited, therefore registration is required. For more information and to register, please call 463-6389 or visit www.cmclibrary.org .
“Given the success of the two previous hands-on workshops at our branch this year, I look forward to this being well-attended as well and again thank the County Library for making such good use of our venue,” concluded Mayor Pikolycky.
