WILDWOOD CREST ─ Borough commissioners presented a plaque Dec. 27 to the family of the late crossing guard Richard Grzekiewicz. Grzekiewicz served as a crossing guard for Crest Memorial Elementary School, protecting “the youngest and most vulnerable pedestrians” in the borough. Grzekiewicz died in 2017, and the commissioners wished to honor his memory and family.
