County Residents Finish in Top Categories at Senior Citizens Art Show

COURT HOUSE – Three local artists win top honors at the New Jersey Senior Citizens Art Show that took place recently at Meadow Lakes Senior Community in East Windsor, New Jersey.
Eleven senior artists, who participated in the Cape May County Senior Art Show sponsored by the Division of Aging and Disability Services, and held annually in June at the local campus of the Atlantic Cape Community College, were eligible to participate in the New Jersey Senior Art Show.
Out of a total of 268 pieces of artwork on display from all 21 counties in New Jersey, the following artists from Cape May County received awards:
First Place and Best in Show Professional Oil – George Vollmer of Wildwood
Third Place in Non-professional Drawing – Susanne Spincic of Woodbine
Third Place Non-professional Watercolor – Shirley Stone of Cape May.
