COURT HOUSE — The Cape May County Library invites teens entering grades 6-12 to participate in a Creative Writing Workshop with instructor Keri Mikulski held from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, July 5, July 12, July 19, and July 26. The programs will take place at the Main Branch of the library located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.
This series of four workshops will introduce teens to the craft of writing, including poetry, fiction, and personal narrative. Participants will practice brainstorming, free-writing, drafting and workshopping to develop their own style, tone, and voice. Through these various writer-focused activities, students will work towards developing their identity as a community of writers.
