County Library Hosts Art @ the Library!
The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 6-10 to Art @ the Library presented by the Cape May Center for Community Arts. The program will take place at the Cape May City Branch Library Thursdays, Oct. 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. The Cape May City Branch Library is located on Ocean & Hughes Streets in Cape May.
Children ages six through ten are invited to enjoy Art @ the Library. Activities combine literature and art where children read a book and create a work of art using a variety of media and styles. The second program will start at 5:00 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Upper Cape Branch, located at 2050 Route 631 in Petersburg.

The Cape May County Library invites kids, ages 2-5, and their caregivers to attend a Family Dance Party to be held Oct. 17 at 10:00 a.m. The program will take place at the Main Branch of the library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.

The Cape May County Library invites families to attend our annual Homeschool Open House. The event will take place at 1:00 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Main Branch of the library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.
Families who home school their children are invited to our annual open house! How can we prepare our children to be savvy digital citizens? This year we will explore and test out a variety of recommended educational apps and resources on digital citizenship as we explore this topic together. No registration is required. County Library Hosts a Homeschool Social
The Cape May County Library invites families to a Homeschool Social to be held at 11:00 a.m. Oct. 20. The Homeschool Social will take place at the Lower Cape Branch of the library located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
The Lower Cape Library invites all families in the area who homeschool their children to a monthly social. Each month, we will explore a different subject area with stories and activities for the children. We will also provide books for further reading, and demonstrate databases and internet sources you can access from your home computer. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet with other families who homeschool and explore the library’s vast resources.

County Library Hosts Kitchen Wizards
Cape May Court House – The Cape May County Library invites kids, ages 5-12, to Kitchen Wizards! The program will take place twice Oct. 15 and kids can register for one of the two sessions. The first session will take place at 10:30 a.m. and the second will take place at 12:00 p.m. The programs will be held at the Main Branch of the Library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.
Kitchen Wizards helps kids discover the magic of cooking, one bite at a time, through culinary enrichment programs. Plenty of samples to take home and copies of recipes provided. Kids age 5-12 are invited to participate. Space is limited and registration is required. Recipes are not guaranteed to be nut-free. Please do not register your child if they have a nut allergy.

County Library Hosts LEGO Clubs
The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 5 to 12 years old, and their caregivers to attend our LEGO Clubs. LEGO Club will be held at four of the library’s branches throughout October.
In order to develop a theme for each meeting, we’ll read books to get ideas about what to construct and then bring out the LEGOs and build, build, build! Parents are encouraged to stay through the meetings and build with their kids.

The Cape May County Library invites kids of all ages, and their families, to stop in at the Main Branch of the library anytime in October to join in the fun of our Star Wars Reads program. The Main Branch of the library is located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.
Come to the Main Branch of the library all month in October for some fun coloring pages and galactic books. For a fun challenge, our first scavenger hunt of the month will be Star Wars themed! Ask Miss Alice nicely and she might teach you some Star Wars, origami, too.

The Cape May County Library invites kids, ages 8-12, to join Writers Rock which will take place at 6:00 p.m. Oct. 24. The program will take place at the Main Branch of the library located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.
Writers and aspiring writers wanted! If you enjoy writing and want to learn more about it, this is the club for you! Writers Rock is a club at the Cape May Court House Library that will meet once a month to share our writing and participate in fun activities to hone our writing skills and inspire our creativity. This year we’re learning all about poetry be sure to join us for great activities and writing sessions!
