County Girl Scouts Participate in Community Service Project

By Press Release

OCEAN VIEW — Girl Scout Cadette Troop 44536 of Dennis Township recently visited the residents of The Resort at Oceanview, formerly known as Oceanview Rehabilitation and Continuing Care. The Scouts purchased flowers and potting soil. The lady residents and girls worked together to decorate the flower pots and plant the flowers. The Scouts then assisted the ladies in taking the plants to their rooms.
The Scouts and residents enjoyed the visit, and both benefitted from their service project.
Girl Scouting in Cape May County gives girls many opportunities to be of service to other community members. Scouts also learn skills in many subjects, as well as leadership training.
The Scouts who participated in this project, shown in the photo, were (back row, left to right) Courtney Rodier, Charlotte Selover, Madison Fowler, Grace Thompson (front row, left to right) Anna Harrar, Christine Selover, Nancy Fowler, Jessica Raab and Alaina Young).
