COLD SPRING – A portion of Cape May County’s bike path system will be temporarily closed in the next few weeks to perform tree trimming.
Lewis Tree Service, working for Atlantic City Electric, will be trimming and removing trees and cutting back vegetation.
The work will be taking place on an approximately 3,000 foot section of the path, from Cold Spring Village, south to Sandman Boulevard.
Residents should expect the bike path to be closed from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following dates, weather permitting:
– Nov. 20 to Nov. 22
– Nov. 27 to Nov. 29
Users of the bike path should plan an alternate route, using either U.S. Route 9 or CR 626 – Seashore Road.
