Controversial Filmmaker in Cape May

Cape May Film Society is hosting the South Jersey Premiere of “The Cartel” with a special ‘Meet the Filmmaker’ reception on Aug. 24 at Cape May Stage, Bank and Lafayette sts. at 7 p.m.
The film, an award-winning feature documentary about New Jersey’s education system, starts around 8 p.m.
Come see why this documentary has been called a “must see” movie by several newspapers throughout the region. The film is followed by a special Q-&-A session with the director, Bob Bowden.
Tickets are $15 general public and $12 for members of the Film Society and current season patrons of Cape May Stage.
