CAPE MAY – Tired of the heat and crowds? Sure you are.
So let’s say goodbye to the long, hot summer of 2011 at CONTACT Cape-Atlantic’s Fall Wine Tasting on Friday, Sept. 23, at the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington Street, in Cape May.
The event will be held in the Carriage House from 6 to 9:30 p.m. and includes a wide selection of fine wines and beers, butler-served hors d’oeuvres and dining stations for international cheeses, duck confit and beef brisket sliders, Asian slaw, pasta with roasted vegetables and more. Tickets are $55 or two for $100.
There will also be a small Silent Auction featuring gift baskets and donations from area merchants.
The Wine Tasting is a necessary fundraiser to support CONTACT’s mission to help our elderly and disabled neighbors enjoy independent living as long as possible. The money raised at the Wine Tasting will help CONTACT continue its mission to provide telephone reassurance and community support for the elderly and disabled.
For information, and to reserve your seats or place an ad in the program book for this event, call CONTACT at 823-1850.
